Doc Jones – Resource Investing In Gold, Silver, Lithium, Copper, Nickel, Oil, and Nat Gas Stocks

Doc Jones, Private Investor and editor of DrJonesResourceInvestor.com,  joins us to discuss different aspects of investing in the resource stocks in gold, silver, copper, nickel, lithium, oil, and natural gas. We start the discussion off with a change in outlook for the precious metals sector, where he has been more actively involved lately and taking on a few new positions.  He mentioned his interest in the earlier stage explorer Regency Silver (TSXV: RSMX) (OTCQB: RSMXF) based on some initial encouraging drill results, and also that he has recently participated in a financing with Western Alaska Minerals (TSX.V: WAM) (OTC: WAMFF) as they continue to expand and derisk their copper-gold porphyry project.*

Next we jumped over to the critical minerals trend, and the huge amount of investor interest over the last few years, due to all the positive tailwinds we see behind the green energy policies and investment capital flows. He explains why he is more interested in investing in critical minerals like copper, nickel, zinc, and lithium, and outlines 2 companies at various stages of the mining cycle that he has invested in personally.  He first mentioned Sigma Lithium (TSX.V:SGML, NASDAQ:SGML), a near-term lithium producer in Brazil, and then moved over to the battery metals developer Magna Mining (TSX.V: NICU; OTC: MGMNF), and recent exploration results returning solid nickel, copper, PGM values.*

Because of his background investing in the traditional oil and nat gas stocks for over 2 decades, we wrap up with his outlook on the energy space, with his continued focus on Canadian companies with more established teams and assets with true scale and stability, along with robust dividends.  He noted both Birchcliff Energy (TSX: BIR; OTC: BIREF) as an example of a solid dividend paying companies with excellent financials and growth built in as nat gas prices improve.*

* Doc Jones is not paid by any company to discuss these stocks, and these are simply what he is doing with his own money in his own portfolio, and this is not investment advice.
